Are you afraid of death and dying and even afraid to talk about it?

Let this course remove your fears and bring your attention to the grace and beauty surrounding the death and dying. Explore why there is nothing to fear and that death is in fact a rebirth. This in-depth course provides helpful and practical information on how to support others and strengthen your own internal awareness of the dying process.

Developing a Compassionate Heart

Sheila Kayes shares her own personal journey with death and dying and uses a lot of examples and stories from her own life and experiences as a social worker and Hospice Counselor to both illustrate and demonstrate why death is not to be feared but to be celebrated. This course will change your attitudes; remove your fears about death and dying in general.

  • This course will empower you as a spiritual leader to educate others about death and dying and how to develop a compassionate heart for others.

  • A necessary class for anyone considering the Ordination/Licensing Path, and important for anyone facing their own mortality or who wish to plan and prepare for loved ones transitions.

  • The Study Guides included with each Lesson provides the opportunity for self-reflection with previous experiences with grief in your life, and will help you move past any self-limiting or false beliefs you may have about mourning and grief.
