5 Basic Unity Principles

Principles are a set of standards or guidelines for our lives.

  1. There is only ONE POWER and ONE PRESENCE active in the universe and all life, God, the Good, Omnipotent.

  2. Our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently good. This God essence was fully expressed in Jesus, the Christ, and is EQUALLY EXPRESSED in us.

  3. We are CO-CREATORS with God, creating reality through thoughts held in mind.

  4. Through AFFIRMATIVE PRAYER and meditation, we connect with God and bring out the good in life.

  5. Through thoughts, WORDS AND ACTIONS, we live in the truth we know.

Having served three years of military service in the United States Army Reserves, Temple became a Science of Mind minister in 1991 and an ordained Unity Minister in 2007.
